That’s right, soldiers.  If your New Year’s resolution was to get on a Creative Consultants team no matter what, here’s major-payneyour chance!!

Thanks to the success of last semester’s Creative Consultants teams, there is an overwhelming interest for both clients and new members.  Thus, the Creative Consultants application will begin again for the spring semester.
The due date will be Wednesday, January 14 at 5:00 pm to Dr. Jones or Mrs. LeBlond.  Kaitlyn will NOT be accepting any applications by email for this application process, so impress her and read these directions! :)
Here are the qualifications to apply:
  • An eagerness for experience in the public relations field 3803514_std
  • Membership in PRSSA
  • For those who want to apply to be a junior or lead account executive: leadership experience, previous public relations experience and coursework through PR Communications, but you DO NOT have to have Creative Consultants experience
Students will be assigned based on skills, previous experience and interests.  Kaitlyn will make as many teams as she has available leadership, team members and clients.
If you have any questions, please contact the member recruitment officer, Kaitlyn Darr, or re-read this post.
At ease, soldiers.

No wonder people love us.

I just have to say on behalf of the ENTIRE E-board that our Creative Consultants teams absolutely ROCK!!!!!

Guys, if you weren’t there, you missed the most impressive client work I’ve ever seen.  Listening to each johnny-bravopresentation made me realize that we TRULY are Democracy’s Next Generation.

The client interactions, presentations, speaking skills, progress, creativity, professionalism and TEAMWORK made me so, incredibly proud to be a part of PRSSA at our wonderful university.

I left Sanford Hall on a total public relations high just thinking about all the GOOD we are doing in the world.  Whether it’s for a nonprofit, a sports team, our college, or whatever, you’re spreading the Gospel of Grady in such a positive light.

Also, thanks to our wonderful judges, Justin Pettigrew, Dr. Russell, Dr. Reber and Ashley Harp from Jackson Spalding for being so attentive and asking great questions.  We couldn’t have done it without you!

Last but not least, I think Ms. Kaitlyn Darr needs a round of applause. I have never seen such impeccable organization and running the show.  She did an amazing job, and it’s all because she loves her Creative Consultants babies so much. :)

So, job well done, troops. Now get back to studying for whatever, but get back to it with a positive peace of mind. “You done me proud!”

Love,

Katherine

Creative Consultants gets a National Shout-Out!

29 10 2008

This is big news, everyone.

In the latest edition of PR Week, Creative Consultants is mentioned in an article about student-run public relations firms.

Our very own Kaitlyn Darr is quoted from the interview she had with the reporter.  PR Week is a national publication that most public relations, advertising, marketing and consulting firms subscribe to.  It’s a huge deal to be mentioned in a publication like this because of the expansive readership.

We know all of our Creative Consultants teams are doing fabulously, so keep up the good work!

Another year will soon begin.

As much as we don’t want to admit it, the fall ‘08 semester will soon be in our midst. So, just what have PRSSA-ers been doing all summer?

That’s just a few of our friends, but we know SO many of you have been doing fun things this summer.

Let us know what you’ve been up to!
