Creative Consultants

Creative Consultants is PRSSA at UGA’s not-for-profit, student-run public relations firm. Creative Consultants aims to strengthen the public relations skills of its members through real-life experience as well as to provide creative, cost-efficient public relations services to its clients. Every fall, members apply to work on different accounts that range from hair salons to local farms.kelli-044

Each account has a team of PRSSA members whose ages range from 18-22. According to the applications, the co-directors designate an account executive to lead the team for the year. An account’s lifespan is one full school year.

Team assignments are based on the members’ applications. A student’s experience, year in school, grade point average and amount of time commitment are all considered. Being able to work on a Creative Consultants account has become progressively competitive.

Does anyone know what spots are still open for the interviews on Sunday? I wanted to see if there were any left and, if there are, decide which one I could sign up for before I went all the way to the journalism building from the forestry building! thanks!

I have not checked what is open because I’m trying not to pick up the applications until I get them in one bulk pile. If there are not any openings listed, continue to make openings because I will be there. Thanks!

Could you post the new Creative Consultants clients? I couldn’t remember them all from last night. Thanks!

Hey all! There are five new clients, thus five new teams. The five clients are 237 Prince Woodfire Grille, Watchdawgs, S2 formerly known as Sursie (a local band), The Red & Black, and one to be named.

I would ask that applicants not send me any requests or concerns about the clients. The most important for all applicants to remember is the necessity of being flexible. Every client has a lot of opportunities and is a fantastic client. Get excited!
